Objectives of the Course

To gain a clear perspective to students about the contents and the basic principles of botany.

Course Content

The structure of plant cells, plant tissues and organs, classification, and basic information about the plant kingdom constitute the summary content of the course.

1.Understands the structure of the plant cell, its organelles, and their functions.
2.Understands the basic characteristics of mitosis and meiosis division.
3.Becomes knowledgeable about plant tissues.
4.Learns about the structure and functions of vegetative plant organs such as roots, stems, and leaves.
5.Learns the structures of flowers, fruits, and seeds.
6.Understands the diversity and classification of plants.
