Course Content

During the Second World War, Turkey remained neutral. However, he experienced all the adversities of the war. The social values of the one-party period were greatly damaged. The National Protection Act, Asset Tax and Soil Products Tax led the social strata to take a stand against power. The effect of this resentment on the social base played a major role in the transition to the multi-party life. The course includes an evaluation of the political, economic and social dimensions of these difficult years.
