Objectives of the Course

Giving a general understanding about the status of women within the historical status from Ancient Anatolian History to Ancient Greek and Roman periods.

Course Content

Woman, man, child and family are the notions that appeared with the existence of mankind. In this course, role and status of women from prehistoric periods to the end of Antiwuity will be treated within the context of status of family members within the society, their rights and responsibilities and relations to each others.
