Objectives of the Course

Explaining the background of myths, litteral analysis and reasons behind the attraction of myths by evaluating the myths from all around the World, which sustain litteral value.

Course Content

Teaching of the effect of mythology on our culture and aily life and knowledge of a World Mythology with the most popular mythologies.

1.to be able to list the seven part of the myths according to their geographical divisions.
2.to be able to explain that, the myts reflect the nature of human with the neccessities, desires, hopes and fears which compose the main themes of the myths.
3.to be able to group World Myths as Genesis Myths, Fertility Myths and Heroic Myths.
4. to be able to explain the historical backgrounds of World Myths, literal analyssis and reasons behind their attraction.
5. to be able to engage in many creative and intellectual efforts thanks to World Myths.
6.to be able to enrich knowledge, understanding and abilty to evaluate someone else by studying World Myths.
