Objectives of the Course

The Eastern Question, which was eradicated by the Treaty of Lausanne, emerged from the 18th century, with the decline of the Ottoman land. In the Balkans, the emergence of nation states in the Arab lands and the activities of Britain and Russia in the middle of this problem are examined

Course Content

Examining the concept of the Eastern question, the 1815 Vienna Congress and the protection of the territorial integrity of the Ottoman state in Europe or the separation of the policies of the Ottoman state. In this context, developments in the Ottoman geography.
