Objectives of the Course

To teach the fundamental knowledge of Turkish administration

Course Content

Fundamental resources of Turkish administration, in new and modern ages Turkish structures of governmental administration, the impact of former Turkish states, Islam, Byzantium, European, Persian etc. on formation of Turkish administrative structures will be examined

1.	To know the classical Ottoman provincial governments.
2.	To undestand the Ottoman rural governments.
3.	To undestand the Ottoman law sytem before the Tanzimat Era.
4.	To underline the main changes of the Tanzimat on the Ottoman provincial rule.
5.	To comment on the major changes on the provincial rule of the Ottomans through modernisation .
