Objectives of the Course

Providing consciousness of cultural heritage in our country in geogaphical and historical respects and associate cultural heritage with economy and tourism.

Course Content

Cultural and natural assets that have universal values and belonging to whole humanity, conciousness that protect this universal heritage.

Learning Outcomes
1.to be able to define the notion “Cultural heritage” does not only involve concrete, visible and immovable cultural assets but also notional values.
2.to be able to tell the history of Anatolia is identical with the History of civilization of humanity.
3.to be able to use Turkey’s wealth in Cultural assets and their values.
4.to be able to explain why Turkey was not able to protect and develop her cultural wealth in the past.
5.to be able to present the artifacts in Turkey catalouged in the Unesco World Heritage List.
