Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to help the students determine and identify the sources of accurate information on Armenian history and the events of 1915; and to try to show the reality through documents. The objectives of this course are also to inform the students about the Armenian issue that has an important place in internal and external policies of our country; to teach them to evaluate information.

Turkish Archives (Prime Ministry Ottoman Archives, ATASE Archives; the Archives of Turkish Grand Assembly, the Archives of Turkish Historical Society, the Archives of Institute for the History of Turkish Revolution); American Archives (Library of Congress, The National Archives, US National Archives); British Archives (Cabinet Office Achieves, Foreign Office Archives); Memoirs and Biographies, Novels; Periodical Publications: Magazines and Newspapers (online), Books, Dissertations, Reports, Albums, etc.
