Objectives of the Course

Introducing the military structures, armies and naval powers of the Ancient Eastern Civilizations. Emphasizing the mutual relationship between the mentioned civilizations and the military culture they created.

Course Content

In this course, military developments, wars, manpower sources of the armies and economical and social reasons and results of these mentioned topics will be treated within the histories of the Ancient Mesopotamian and Egyptian Civilizations, Bronze Age Anatolian Civilizations and Persian Empire.
