Objectives of the Course

In this course students will get the necessary information about the history of the Turkish city starting from the time of ancient Turks to the Ottomans. Within this lecture students will list the efficient factors that establish the Turkish city, also will be able to define the common and different points of the Islamic city, Turkish city and the European cities.

Course Content

The processes of the Turkish city throughout history, the natural factors on the establishment of the Turkish cities, the cities in the Roman era, the Classical and the modern age Turkish cities will be analyzed.
