Objectives of the Course

This course aims to familiarize students with the fundamental narratives, figures, and symbols of Turkish, Greek, and Norse mythologies and to develop their ability to evaluate the influence of these mythological traditions on literature, art, and culture.

Course Content

Creation narratives, deities, heroes, sacred beings, and symbolic elements in Turkish, Greek, and Norse mythologies; cultural and literary representations of mythological narratives and their influence on literature and culture.
