The aim of this course is to enable students to integrate and apply the fundamental knowledge and skills they have acquired in physics within the framework of a research or application-based project. The course is designed to develop competencies in identifying scientific problems, planning and conducting research, evaluating relevant literature, selecting appropriate methodologies, analyzing results, and preparing scientific reports. By the end of the course, students are expected to graduate as individuals capable of carrying out independent research, adhering to the principles of scientific ethics, and effectively communicating their findings through both written and oral presentations.
Conducting a literature review under the supervision of a faculty advisor on a selected topic in physics, carrying out research activities, evaluating and interpreting the obtained results, and preparing a final project report in accordance with scientific writing standards. The course also covers scientific research methods, ethical principles in research, data analysis and interpretation, and the effective presentation and reporting of scientific findings.
