The fundamental quantities of electromagnetic theory that are magnetism, electrodynamics, electromagnetic wave and dipole radiation will be investigated.
Magnetostatic, Magnetic Fields in Matter, Electrodynamics, Conservation laws, Electromagnetic waves, Potentials and fields
| 1. | Analyze magnetic fields produced by current-carrying systems using the Lorentz force, Biot–Savart law, and Ampère’s law. |
| 2. | Solve magnetostatic problems using the magnetic vector potential, magnetic dipole moment, and magnetostatic boundary conditions. |
| 3. | Analyze magnetic field behavior in matter using the concepts of magnetization, bound currents, and the H-field. |
| 4. | Explain time-dependent electromagnetic phenomena using the concepts of electromotive force, Faraday induction, and inductance. |
| 5. | Interpret the relationships between electric and magnetic fields using Maxwell’s equations and apply them to physical problems. |
| 6. | Evaluate energy, momentum, and conservation laws in electromagnetic systems within the framework of Poynting’s theorem. |
| 7. | Analyze the generation, propagation, and behavior of electromagnetic waves in different media. |
| 8. | Solve and interpret physical problems involving electromagnetic radiation and dipole radiation. |
| 1. | Introduction to Electrodynamics, David J. Griffiths, 2003. |
| 2. | Classical Electrodynamics, John DAvid Jackson, 1998. |
