Objectives of the Course

The main objective of this course is to develop an understanding and awareness of being able to evaluate art forms in terms of art and society relationship by looking at their social meanings/perceptions.

Course Content

Concepts of art and society; culture and art, functions of art, who is the artist, responsibilities of the artists, classical artworks, modern artworks.
