Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to focus on the examples of postmodern literature written in the second half of the twentieth century and to analyze the literary techniques and themes used in this period.

Course Content

In this course, students learn the history and literature of the 20th century and analyze the works of the writers of the period. Postmodern novels are evaluated in terms of form and content.

5.5. To approach a text critically and make logical deductions based on textual evidences.
6.6. To have knowledge of English culture, history and literature.
