Objectives of the Course

One of the Main Subjects of the History of Sufi Thought; It is aimed to explain Divine Love, Sahw, Fena, the Quality of Sufism as a Science, Shathiyye, Malamatiyya, the Place and Importance of Sufism among the Sharia Sciences, Issues of Being and Humanity, and the Sufi Views of its Leading Representatives.

Course Content

Among the Main Subjects of Sufi Thought, Divine Love, Sahw, Bad, Scientific Value of Sufism, Melametism, Among the Sharia Sciences, in the Case of the Main Representatives of Sufi Thought: Rabiatü'l-Adeviyye, Cüneyd-i Bağdâdî, Hallâc, Serrâc, Sülemî, Gazzali, İbn Arabî and Mevlânâ. The Place and Importance of Sufism, Existence and Human Subjects Will Be Included.

1.Having General Knowledge of the Content of the Main Subjects of the History of Sufi Thought;
2.Knowing the Main Representatives of the Main Topics and Sufi Thoughts in Outline;
3.To be able to follow how the thoughts of the figures who have an important place in the history of Sufi thought with their ideas continued after them;
4.Being able to observe that the ideas that form the building blocks of Sufi thought have features that complement and enrich each other;
5.Knowing the Thought of Sufism and Identifying Its Similarities and Differences with Other Sciences.
