Today's philosophical movements course is a course in which students build on the knowledge they acquired in the history of philosophy course. The aim of the course is to teach the philosophical movements and philosophers that are active in the recent past and today, to enable students to establish a connection with the period they are in and to be aware of the past thought systems that constitute the period in which they live.
Philosophical movements such as Positivism, Materialism, German Idealism, Utilitarianism, Philosophy of Life, Pragmatism, Analytical Philosophy, Phenomenology, Existentialism.

| 2. | The student gains an understanding of concepts and problematics that are central to each contemporary philosophical movement. |

| 5. | The student will be able to discuss contemporary ethical, political and cultural issues. |
| 6. | He/she exhibits behaviors that will set an example for the society with his/her attitudes and behaviors in line with the requirements of the theological knowledge he/she has acquired. It supports the universality of social and cultural rights, gains awareness of social justice, and protects historical and cultural heritage. |
| 7. | Has the ability to identify, define, critically evaluate, interpret, formulate and solve classical and current religious issues; For this purpose, it selects and applies appropriate analysis and modeling methods. |
| 8. | It determines the learning needs of those under its responsibility, manages the learning processes and plans activities for their personal and professional development. |
| 9. | She uses her theoretical and practical knowledge of textbooks containing current information in the field of theology, application tools and scientific research methods and techniques, in the fields of education, research and community service. |
