Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to provide a general understanding of the fundamental principles, historical evolution, and functioning of Islamic Judicial Law, alongside an overview of the Islamic Judicial Organization.

Course Content

The course content encompasses the fundamental principles of Islamic judicial law, litigation procedures, court organization, roles of judicial officers, and other judicial institutions, excluding qadi courts, as well as administrative processes.

1.Understands the fundamental principles and concepts of Islamic Judicial Law.
2.Gains a general understanding of the formation and development of judicial institutions.
3.Recognizes the relationships, similarities, and differences among various judicial institutions.
4.Possesses knowledge of pivotal concepts in procedural law and attains proficiency in the procedural methodologies of various jurisprudential schools.
5.Evaluates the jurisprudential significance of the divergence in court procedures within judicial establishments.
6.Engages in critical analysis of the socio-political ramifications of Islamic legal doctrine.
