Objectives of the Course

To introduce to the students the Islamic rules which are related to economy.

Course Content

The basic concepts and institutions of economy will be treated in relation with Islamic rules and thoughts in this course.

1.To know the provisions on economic issues in the basic sources of Islam.
2.Acquiring information about the knowledge produced by Muslim thinkers on economic issues in the historical process.
3.To know the general principles of Islam within the framework of production and consumption.
4.Making comparisons between different economic systems.
5.Recognizing the economic principles in the sources of fiqh.
6.To recognize the operations of financial institutions.
