Objectives of the Course

To develop a level of awareness in reading comparative history of thought.

Course Content

This course examines the systems and theories of Islamic philosophers and thinkers and Western thinkers and thinkers. It is discussed comparatively with the systems and theories of the philosophers.

1.It produces solutions to the religious and moral needs of society and individuals in the light of the values ??of the Islamic religion.
2.Knows and discusses the principles of the Islamic religion regarding belief, worship and morality and the discussions on this subject.
3.He benefits from the basic sources of the Islamic religion and makes comments valid for today.
4.Recognizes elements of Islamic civilization such as culture, art and literature and makes comparisons with different cultures.
5.Can demonstrate an objective, critical and holistic approach to contemporary developments and problems.
6.Analyzes individual, social, intellectual and historical forms of religious beliefs and experiences.
