Objectives of the Course

To equip students with the skill to translate current texts on various topics from different Arabic newspapers into Turkish.

Course Content

They will work on translating current topics from Arabic editorials and newspapers.

1.Students learn to effectively use Arabic newspaper.
2.Students can record words and phrases used in Arabic media.
3.Students attempt to translate news heard fromon Arab media, understanding translation techniques.
4.Students listen to different Arab channels to understand dialectal differences.
5.Students acquire the ability to translate from Turkish to Arabic and from Arabic to Turkish.
6.Students can read magazines and newspapers related to Arabic media.
7.Students understand the differences in vocabulary between Classical Arabic and Arabic media.
