To reveal the relationship between Islamic law and other legal systems and to recognize the controversial issues among the fiqh madhhabs and to comprehend the reasons for these debates.
Comparative Islamic Law examines the formation of Islamic schools of law, their methodologies, jurisprudential approaches and reasons for differentiation, as well as the differences between Islamic law and Roman law and contemporary legal systems.
