It is aimed to provide information about the Sufi movements that have existed in various parts of the world, especially in Turkey, from the 20th century to the present, by establishing a connection with the past.
In this lesson; The general course of Sufism on a world scale in the 20th century and today's century will be explained and discussed within the framework of the characteristics and activities of Sufi movements in Turkey, the Balkans, England, the United States of America, North Africa, the Middle East, India and Pakistan.
| 1. | To have general knowledge about the general course of Sufism from the 20th century to the present; |
| 2. | To be informed about the characteristics, main representatives, works and activities of Sufi movements in Turkey, the Balkans, Europe, the USA, North Africa, the Middle East, India and Pakistan during the said period; |
| 3. | To obtain information about the Sufi situation and movements in Turkey and other countries and regions during the period in question, including political, social, religious, human and cultural conditions; |
| 4. | To be able to evaluate the existence of these trends together with contemporary and regional conditions; |
| 5. | To be able to follow the connections with other countries and regions by obtaining information about the characteristics and activities of the movements in question. |
