The Arabic (I) curriculum can be summarized as follows: It focuses on two main subjects, namely Nahw (syntax) and Sarf (morphology), as well as on four fundamental skills: reading comprehension, writing, listening, and speaking.
| 1. | Classifies verbs in Arabic according to their sound (sahih) and weak (mu'tel) structures (aksam-i seb'a), and applies the spelling rules of hamza within words. |
| 2. | Determines the special declension (irab) states of the Five Nouns (Esma-i Hamse) within sentences and uses interrogative particles according to their functions. |
| 3. | Comprehends the conjugation and structural mutation characteristics of hamzated (mehmuz) and geminate (muzaaf) verbs in both triliteral bare and increased forms. |
| 4. | Distinguishes the types of adjectives within sentences and correctly utilizes the circumstantial clause (hal) with its various types in sentences. |
| 5. | Constructs passive verb structures and applies the declension (irab) characteristics of the passive subject (naibu'l-fail), which acts as the object of these verbs. |
| 6. | Analyzes the conjugation rules and structural transformations of assimilated (misal), hollow (ecvef), and defective (nakis) verbs in both triliteral bare and increased forms. |
| 7. | Identifies the adverbials of time and place (mef'ulun fih) within sentences and applies the connecting functions of coordinating conjunctions between sentence components. |
| 8. | Comprehends the rules of the exception structure made with the particle "illa" and the accusative (mansub) states of the specification (temyiz) element. |
| 9. | Applies the rules of specification of numbers, the gender agreement principles in numbers, and the declension characteristics of numbers without error. |
| 10. | Differentiates between non-derived (camid) and derived (mustak) noun structures, and uses the mim-preceded infinitive alongside nouns of unity, manner, and artificial infinitives according to their functions. |
| 11. | Classifies verbs as intransitive (lazim) and transitive (müteaddi) in terms of transitivity, and analyzes the sentence structure of ditransitive verbs. |
| 12. | Constructs advanced derived noun forms such as nouns of time and place, exaggerated participles, assimilated adjectives, diminutives, and relational nouns according to their rules. |
| 13. | Explains the grammatical governance of the verbs of proximity, hope, and inchoation, and the structural rules of conditional sentences. |
| 14. | Explains the rules of assimilation, mutation, and substitution in word structure, and demonstrates the declension properties of diptotes (gayr-i munsarif) and indeclinable states in sentence analysis. |
