In accordance with the Presidential Decree numbered 8129 published in the Official Gazette dated 24.01.2024 and numbered 32439, the Aydın Faculty of Economics within our university was closed and the Faculty of Political Sciences was established instead. The Faculty of Political Sciences established in our university has the distinction of being the first and only Faculty of Political Sciences in the Aegean Region. The Department of Public Finance, which provides education at both undergraduate and graduate levels, has an education program equipped with disciplines such as economics, law and public administration, as well as courses that include financial issues established in our country and in theory. For this reason, our students have the opportunity to benefit from both public and private sector job opportunities thanks to the equipment they obtain. Graduates of our department work in various fields such as Tax Inspection, Revenue Specialist, Commissioner of Audits, Customs Consultant, Financial Advisory and District Governorship. The education period of our department is 4 years, and education continues as formal and evening education. The language of education in our department is Turkish.

The main aim of the Department of Public Finance is to train finance and financial experts to all banks and financial institutions and government agencies.

The vision of The Department of Public Finance is to train experts who are capable of being manager, consultant and trainers in public and private industries, stock markets, banking, insurance and international institutions.

Dominate the area of public finance, train experts with sufficient knowledge to work in any position of financial institutions.

Our faculty is located in Aydın Adnan Menderes University Central Campus. The 3-storey administrative block and the 2-storey classroom block have a closed area of ??7318 m² on a 1,939 m² ground. There are 14 classrooms, 6 for 50 people, 3 for 60 people, 2 for 90 people, 3 for 100 people, and 2 for 30 people, 3 for 10 people for Master's degree. A 52-person computer laboratory is in the completion phase.
