The general objective of the economic history course is to understand the role of economic relations within the relationships that have emerged throughout human history and to teach how today's economic science has been shaped based on the economic relations of those periods.
The birth and development of economic history; from the agricultural revolution and the ancient era that followed, through the Middle Ages and the modern era that began with the industrial revolution, up to the present day, it is examined through the communities living in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas.
