Objectives of the Course

To obtain more reliable information about the meaning and function of religion by learning the current issues discussed among religions and members of religions in the world, and thus to perceive religion as a factor that contributes to peace within and between societies.

Learning Outcomes
1.It classifies the beliefs and practices of religions as theoretical, practical and social.
2.Based on the common moral principles of religions, he/she comprehends the unifying and peace-establishing aspect of religion in society.
3.As he learns about other religious traditions, he can approach social and scientific issues more holistically and objectively.
4.By using comparative methods, one can make more accurate evaluations about the meaning and function of religion.
5.Compares similar, different and same features in religions.
