Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to introduce the basic problems of political philosophy and to enable the theology student to comprehend the basic problems of political philosophy. The course will focus on philosophical questions such as the structure of society, authority, justice, the structure and functioning of the state, and will examine the ideas of prominent philosophers in the history of philosophy.

Course Content

The main problems and major philosophers in political philosophy, starting from ancient philosophy, Islamic philosophy, Western philosophy and contemporary period.
