Objectives of the Course

The science of balagah aims to convey accumulated knowledge effectively according to the demands of the situation and context, teaching how to articulate it through various styles and expressions under specific principles and rules. Simultaneously, it strives to impact the audience with a flawless expression in terms of wording, superior in meaning, and harmonious in structure. The Arabic Language Rhetoric course aims to convey this mission to students.

Course Content

In the Arabic Language and Eloquence (VI) course, the subjects of Beyan and Bedi' sciences will be discussed within the framework of examples from poetry and prose.

Learning Outcomes
1.The student begins developing their language skills through in-depth theoretical and historical studies, such as examining the lives of the most famous scholars of rhetoric.
2.The student begins developing their language skills through in-depth theoretical and historical studies, such as exploring the most renowned works of rhetorical scholars.
3.The student reviews the library of Arab heritage, with particular focus on books related to rhetorical sciences.
4.The student learns how to conduct research in the Arabic library.
5.The student starts producing projects in Arabic, which help enhance their language level in preparation for writing a short thesis on rhetoric, its scholars, and their works.
