Objectives of the Course

To examine the concepts, subjects and sources of the course from the classical period to the present day from the texts of kavâidü't-tefsir, ulûmu'l-Qur'ân and Tafsir Usul texts from Arabic and Turkish texts and thus to eliminate the procedural problem.

Course Content

In the course, the issue of usul, which is one of the main problems of tafsir, has been examined in a multidimensional way. It is aimed for students to comprehend issues such as principles, principles and rules of tafsir. It is ensured that they understand the differences between the terms Kavâidü't-tefsir, ulûmu'l-Qur'ân and tafsir methodology.

1.Recognize and understand the concepts, subjects and sources of the Usul of Tafsir, Ulûmul-Quran and kavâidü't-tefsir, which constitute the infrastructure of Qur'anic interpretation.
2.Establishes and explains the relations of Tafsir and Tafsir Method with other Islamic sciences.
3.Analyzes, understands and explains the topics of Tafsir Methodology from Arabic sources.
4.Understands the texts of tafsir methodology
5.Approaches Qur'anic interpretation in a method-centered way
