In this course, we aimed for achieving two objectives: firstly, to introduce the students to the Arabic library and to enable them to search for words and topics they will need in their future academic pursuits.
In this course, students are first taught theoretically how to navigate Arabic language dictionaries. Subsequently, they are taken to the central library where they engage in practical exercises, working on words from the dictionaries they have learned and extracting different meanings. Additionally, they read selected easy texts at the initial level and translate them into Turkish, conducting grammar exercises in (Nahw analysis/Sarf analysis).
