Objectives of the Course

To gain knowledge about the early historical studies written in the field of Islamic history.

Analysis of early written texts in the field of Islamic history

1.The ability to obtain information from early history texts and use it in historical studies is acquired.
2.Information is obtained about Tabari's History book.
3.The Târîh of Halife b. Hayyât is examined in terms of text and sources.
4.The approaches of early historians to classifying subjects are learned.
5.The ability to understand and interpret the language used by early historians in texts is acquired.
