Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to enable students to compare Western philosophy with Islamic philosophy and to teach them the attitudes of Islamic thinkers towards philosophical movements in the West.

Theories of Existence, Theories of Knowledge, Ethics and Politics, Fundamental Concepts of Islamic Philosophy, Fundamental Concepts of Western Thought

2.The student distinguishes between similarities between Islamic philosophy and Western philosophy.

5.The student begins to use Islamic and Western knowledge in relation to new philosophical issues.
