This course aims to advance students' Arabic reading comprehension, written expression, oral communication, and listening skills to the B1 proficiency level. Throughout the course, modern and classical texts will be analyzed, enabling students to articulate their ideas proficiently using their newly acquired linguistic repertoire. Additionally, the practical application of grammar rules within texts and the development of foundational linguistic analysis skills are among the primary learning outcomes of this course.
Sarf (Morphology): A practical analysis of word structure through bare (mujarrad) and derived (mazeed) verb forms, trilateral (thulathi) and quadrilateral (ruba'i) verb structures, and verb conjugations; as well as pronouns, verbal nouns (masdars), noun patterns, and derivatives. Nahw (Syntax): Structural analysis of nominal and verbal sentences; the analysis of sentence components and basic grammatical elements such as inflection (i'rab) rules, adjectives, pronouns, exceptions (istisna), state/condition (hal), specification (tamyeez), and numbers. Qira'ah (Reading Comprehension): Reading practice and structural analysis of modern and classical Arabic texts at the B1 level; comprehending the semantic framework by identifying the main and supporting ideas of the texts. Muhadathah & Istima' (Oral Communication and Listening Comprehension): The application of interactive oral expression techniques such as discussions and presentations, in addition to practicing daily dialogues, expressing opinions, asking questions, and making suggestions to improve communicative skills. Imla' & Insha' (Spelling Rules and Written Expression): The application of Arabic orthography (imla') rules; developing students' abilities to express their thoughts accurately, fluently, and coherently in written form by creating compositions at the paragraph and short text levels. Sawtiyyat (Phonetics): The correct pronunciation of letters in accordance with their points of articulation (makharij); the practical application of articulation rules at the word and sentence level, particularly using texts from the Holy Quran as a reference.

| 11. | Students read and comprehend intermediate Arabic texts, recognizing semantic differences arising from grammar. |
| 12. | Students construct sentences using prepositional verbs and various conjunctions. |
| 13. | Students learn basic Arabic numerals, ordinal and cardinal numbers. |
| 14. | Students classify and use derived nouns indicating time, place, and instrument. |
| 15. | Students learn and apply syntactic concepts such as adverbial clauses, exception, and vocatives. |
