Programme Outcomes
1.Knows the historical development of the field of communication, its basic concepts and theories, as well as the fundamental dynamics of new media; and formulates and defends coherent and comprehensive ideas on these topics with an interdisciplinary perspective.
2.Knows the structural, managerial, and technical characteristics of new media, as well as digital content formats and the production and management properties of the new communication environments used to convey them.
3.Demonstrates the ability to plan, develop products, and implement projects using research methods and techniques specific to new media with a creative and critical approach.
4.Interprets and analyzes messages on digital platforms and new media content from a critical perspective with new media literacy skills.
5.Designs, implements, and develops content production, management, and related environments by effectively using digital platforms in multimedia design topics.
6.Possesses the ability to work effectively in intra-disciplinary and interdisciplinary teams in projects and applications within the field of communication and new media.
7.Knows the laws, regulations, and legislation related to the field of new media; and meticulously applies ethical principles and values in all professional work.
8.Is sensitive to the universal and social impacts, as well as the legal consequences, of their professional work, such as sustainable development goals, public interest, and public service.
9.Possesses practical knowledge and experience regarding digital communication processes and current sectoral practices in business life.
