Objectives of the Course

Learning the anatomical and histological structures, embryological development, physiological functions, biochemical properties and clinical skills and applications of the organs belonging to the circulatory and respiratory systems, Learning the anatomical and histological structures, physiological and biochemical features of the organs of the lymphoreticular system, Introduction to basic concepts of immunology It is aimed to learn the relationship and functional harmony between Circulatory and Respiratory Systems, to understand its importance in various diseases, and to learn basic information about these diseases.

Course Content

Location of the heart, its neighborhoods, formations in its structure, Atriums, ventricles, projection of the heart, Cardiac muscle; Functions of the heart and heart valves as a pump, Cardiovascular histology, Rhythmic stimulation of the heart and the heart's stimulation transmission system, Circulatory system overview; biophysics of pressure, flow and resistance, Aorta Abdominalis Cardiac arrhythmias and electrocardiographic interpretation, Biophysical laws in the circulatory system and its use in medicine, Measurement and evaluation of human vital signs, Muscle blood flow and cardiac output during exercise; coronary circulation and ischemic heart disease, Laryngeal cartilages and muscles, Solubility of blood gases, gas exchange, gas laws in respiration, Hemoglobin-oxygen relationship, Pulmonary circulation, pulmonary edema and pleural fluid

Learning Outcomes
1.To know the anatomical and histological structures, embryological development, biochemical features and physiological functions of organs belonging to the circulatory and respiratory systems.
2.Learns the ECG mechanism, interprets ECG samples, explains by associating the heart listening focus with heart anatomy and electrical and mechanical changes in the cardiac cycle, interpreting heart sounds, blood pressures and differences,
3.To be able to explain the basic heart and circulatory functions, to explain the circulatory and respiratory systems by associating histological structures with functions.
4.To be able to define the structural features of cells, tissues and organs belonging to lymphoid systems and their roles in the organism.
5.It is aimed to be able to interpret physiological and biochemical analysis of respiratory functions and respiratory gases.
