Objectives of the Course

At the end of the Internal Diseases Clinical Training internship of term 4 students, Internal Diseases symptoms, diseases, the treatments of diseases are aimed to be qualified. The importance of frequent / uncommon in primary care related to the national basic education program Internal Diseases and emergency intervention with serious consequences and effects will show a holistic approach, the evidence is contagious. In Internal Medicine internship; with basic medical practices such as history taking, general / problem-oriented physical examination, patient file preparation, record keeping laboratory tests and necessary procedures to bring closer to the diagnosis, making pre-diagnosis / diagnoses, defining emergency situations and It is aimed to make a differential diagnosis with a holistic message in all treatment-related processes. At the same time, in addition to long-term monitoring and control of related diseases in primary care conditions, pre-diagnosis / diagnosis or emergency information To acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes to refer to a specialist, to understand the importance of establishing a good patient-physician communication. In order to develop and convey the profession, the knowledge, skills and attitudes are aimed holistically.

Course Content

In Internal Medicine internship; with basic medical practices such as history taking, general / problem-oriented physical examination, patient file preparation, record keeping laboratory tests and necessary procedures to bring closer to the diagnosis, making pre-diagnosis / diagnoses, defining emergency situations and It is aimed to provide a holistic approach in all processes about treatments and to make differential diagnosis when necessary.

1.List the common signs and symptoms in Internal Diseases.
2.Knows the blood tests used in diagnosis, the names of radiological and endoscopic tests, and the evaluation of some in case of emergency.
3.Gains knowledge of the etiology and physiopathology of diseases.
4.Know the etiological reasons of liver, biliary tract and pancreatic diseases (acute-chronic pancreatitis). Diagnosis, treatment and differential have information about diagnosis
5.Have information about Helicobacter pylori and digestive diseases.
6.Classify the causes of anemia and polycythemia.
