Objectives of the Course

1. To gain aesthetic sensitivity and to inform about visual values, 2. Emphasizing the need to convey their feelings and thoughts to the masses through visual language, 3. To improve the mental and perceptual abilities of the student through visual education, 4. To gain a creative mindset, 5. To constantly question and criticize his / her visual environment, to give evaluation-oriented behaviors in order to have value judgments, 6. It is to turn them into individuals who see, perceive, think and make a number of judgments and have a personality.

Course Content

1. What is art? Information about artistic structures, Information about design-design processes-Introduction to handicrafts -Information about color and color harmony and color experiments-Marbling varieties, marbling painting preparation stages-Ebru painting making techniques-Ebru painting free product studies Completing and finishing the product production. 2. Definition of weaving, weaving types, pattern selection to be used in weaving, weaving panel making material selection and preparations, selection of techniques suitable for the selected pattern, sample product study. 3. Definition and structure of leather. Historical development. Usage areas of leather types according to the types of leather and the way they are produced. Free product studies Completion and completion of product production
