Objectives of the Course

To explain the concept of drama and the types of drama, to discuss what drama brings to the individual, to practice warm-up games and drama transition games with the group, to apply the stages of drama, to create and apply patient-physician scenarios using drama techniques. This course aims to develop medical students' important skills such as communication, empathy and teamwork through creative drama techniques. Additionally, students' ability to cope with stress and solve problems will be increased through creative drama.

Course Content

Basic Drama Techniques, Communication Skills, Empathy Development, Role Playing Techniques, Teamwork and Leadership, Patient-Doctor Relationship, Creative Thinking and Problem Solving, Stress Management, Ethics and Emotional Intelligence, Cultural Awareness and Sensitivity.
