a- To teach the way of acqusiting occupational knowledge for highlighting the forensic problems regarding veterinary surgeon b- To teach the necessity of how to approach a forensic case
This course covers the fundamental principles of veterinary forensic medicine, the roles and responsibilities of veterinary expert witnesses, forensic case assessment, and preparation of expert reports. It also addresses the forensic examination of live and deceased animals, professional negligence and liability, determination of the cause and time of death, traumatic deaths, asphyxia, poisoning, and legal aspects of notifiable diseases and quarantine measures.
