a- To teach restraining, examination and sampling methods in exotic birds, reptiles and rodents grown as pet animals b- To give relevant information regarding diagnostic-treatment procedures and drug application techniques about major diseases on exotic birds, reptiles and rodents grown as pet animals
This course covers restraint, clinical sampling, clinical and laboratory examination methods, and health assessment in cage birds, reptiles, rabbits, and exotic small mammals. It also addresses the etiology, clinical findings, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of major bacterial, viral, fungal, parasitic, nutritional, and metabolic diseases, as well as toxicoses affecting these species.
