Objectives of the Course

To present general information about irrigation and agricultural drainage systems and importance of them in terms of agricultural activities and also designing and planning of irrigation and drainage systems.

Course Content

Irrigation, plant-water-soil interactions, calculations of plant water consumption (Evapotranspiration), irrigation methods and design, determination of agricultural drainage requirement and design criteria of agricultural drainage systems.
