To provide knowledge and skills regarding water quality, water resources, hydraulic principles, population projections, water demand, design criteria, and practical considerations from the source to the settlement, as well as the design of drinking water distribution networks, pipelines, valves, and equipment.
Properties of drinking and domestic water / Determining water demand / Population projection methods / Designs based on the water source / Design criteria for transmission lines / Reservoirs / Analysis and design of water distribution networks / Pipes, valves, and network components.
| 1. | Knowledge of population estimation methods, flow characteristics, project duration and water consumption for the design of infrastructure systems. |
