Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to teach the basic science concepts in elementary school and to reveal the relationship between science and other sciences.

Course Content

The aim of this course is to teach the basic concepts of natural sciences and science, basic concepts of science, the place of science among other sciences, historical development, aims of science teaching, general knowledge about physics, world and universe, chemistry and biology. learn their daily life and their usage areas.

Learning Outcomes
1.To be able to define basic principles and concepts of science, to be able to explain the place and historical development of science among other sciences.
2.To be able to comprehend the aims of the science course.
3.To be able to explain physical science and measurement, size and unit systems with examples.
4.Explain the substance and its properties.
5.Define the force, explain the effects of force and explain the laws of Newton's motion.
6.To be able to define electric vehicles, and to prepare simple electrical circuits.
7.To be able to define the concepts related to light and sound in our environment, To discuss the negative effects of light and sound pollution and to develop solutions.
8.To be able to explain the solar system, Earth and Sun movements and to have knowledge about space technologies.
9.To be able to explain the change of matter and matter.
10.To explain the state of matter and its importance for living things.
11.To be able to explain the beings around us, the characteristics of living things, cells and structures, and the classification of living things
12.Ability to explain the human body and systems, sensory organs and their functions
13.Ability to explain foods and their properties and balanced nutrition
