Objectives of the Course

This course aims firstly to help teachers candidates to comprehend the Universal characteristics of religions, and to introduce world religions. Secondly the course aims to help teacher candidates to develop skills and knowledge in delivering primary Religious Education curriculum at 4th and 5th grades.

Basic concepts (religion, culture, moral) , basic principles of Islam; Islamism and other religions; moral-person and community relationship; examining religion and moral education course curriculum in upper primary education (4-5 grades) from the aspects of targets, content, methods and approaches
