Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to provide visual arts course teacher candidates to adopt course teaching methods by combining the field and professional formation courses found in undergraduate education. For this purpose, it provides four subject areas such as criticism, aesthetics, art history and practice related to art education to be acquired in the appropriate teaching and educational environment.

Course Content

Basic concepts specific to the field and the relationship of these concepts with field teaching, the legal basis of the field, including the Constitution and the Basic Law of National Education, the general goals of field teaching, the methods, techniques, tools and materials used. Examination of the related curriculum (purpose, acquisition, theme, unit, activity, etc.b.). Examination and evaluation of course, teacher and student workbook examples.
