Objectives of the Course

The purpose of this course is to follow the development of children literature of the world and in Turkey, and the product is addressing the audience in this area, according to the characteristics of children in terms of quality development to evaluate the awareness of this issue must have.

Course Content

Development of children literature in the world and in Turkey. Stage of childhood, the importance of quality children's books to meet, and who develop a reading habit, the training of individuals in the sensitive function of the works of children literature. Features should be in children literature (design, content and educational), study the examples. Unskilledchildren'sbookswithsamplesanddiscussion of negative effects on their children's developmental characteristics. Pre-service teachers, the books read and assess the conformity of the children according to age groups and studies to determine what benefits their children. Appeals to children of various literary genres (epic, tales, poems, short stories, novels, etc.) and verbal, rhymes, riddles, etc.)determine the contribution of children development.
