Objectives of the Course

To introduce candidate teachers to popular music of today's world.

Course Content

Historical developmentof popular music, cadances in majör and minör tonality and harmonic analysis of popular Turkish and foreign popular music pieces and their individual and collective performance, preparation of activities for popularmusic applications.
