Objectives of the Course

The course aims to provide the students with a general knowledge on causes, classification, diagnostic criteria of behavior disorders and DSM IV diagnostic criteria of behavior disorders to help them to understand definition and causes of behavior disorders according to different theories, classic classification and DSM IV diagnostic criteria; behavior disorders in adulthood according to DSM IV diagnostic criteria, intervention strategies and clinical observation.

Course Content

Causes, classification, diagnostic criteria of behavior disorders in childhood and adolescence and DSM IV diagnostic criteria of behavior disorders in childhood and adolescence, intervention strategies and clinical observation. Definition and causes of behavior disorders according to different theories, classic classification and DSM IV diagnostic criteria; behavior disorders in adulthood according to DSM IV diagnostic criteria, intervention strategies and clinical observation.
