10.Writing / telling or choosing the functions of Internet based learning tools.

Week 1 - Theoretical
Introduction to course content, importance, requisites and rules of the course.
Week 2 - Theoretical
Fundamental terms and historical perspective in instructional design and technology.
Week 3 - Theoretical
“Instructional material” concept. History of instructional tools and technology. CEIT program’s role in instructional design and IT education.
Week 4 - Theoretical
Informing learners about “My instrucitonal materials portfolio” assignment which includes a poster, a presentation, a video file.
Week 5 - Theoretical
Introduction to instructional technology: Blackboard, whiteboard, smartboard, slide machine, elmo, radio tape, TV, video.
Week 6 - Theoretical
PC, VCD, DVD, projector, scanner, mobile learning tools such as cell phones, digital camera, digital voice recorder, player.

Instructional analysis and content design - ASSURE model

Virtual learning environments (virtual school, virtual classroom), learning management systems, web based instruction, educational websites. Using blogs, vlogs and vlogs in education.

Students’ presentation of the materials they developed.
